Rwanda's only natural resource is rich agricultural land, most of which is owned by the government and planted in export crops, coffee and tea. Kagame has centralized wealth amongst his inner circle as the standard of living of average Rwandans has declined. Paul Rusesabagina, the model for the hero of the film Hotel Rwanda, has called for Kagame's arrest and prosecution for crimes against humanity. People all over the world need to have the FACTS that underlie all the horror and deprivation in D.R. Congo, Rwanda (where I sponsor a little boy) and most of the other African nations. I cry with shame at the exploitation of my people who have and continue to cause social and economic turmoil in the lives of African people. Very important stuff here.
