A construction project in the very heart of the inner city has no black construction workers and less than a trickle of black contractors. The Baptist Ministers and Deacon's Alliance held a series of forums to address the issue, under the leadership of Rev. W. R. Brown, Jr., pastor of New Horizon Baptist Church. This is a great article about what we as a people can accomplish by working together. Unfortunately because of Slavery and The Plantation Age in America too many Black Peoples still think in terms of Individualism-Selfishness as a material way of life when the Forces of Nature and Spirituality shows us that this concept and practice is furtherest from the Truth. We have actually entered the Age of Time when it Is Group Development ( Tribal, Ethnic and National ) that will determine the Survival and The Further Evolution of The Group and the Indivdual as a Whole.
