I agree with Physal...Justice for Officer Daniel Faulkner.

Mumia Abu Jamal, Guilty and affirmed of the cold blooded execution of another human being.

On Dec 9, 1981 at around at 3:51 am, Officer Faulkner calls in that he has pulled over William Cook, Abu Jamals'(aka Westly Cook) brother for some reason. Seconds later he calls for backup. A few minutes later backup arrives with Officer Faulkner dead and Mumia sitting on the curb with a bullet wound, from Faulkners' gun, in his chest next to a .38 with 5 spent cartriges that was registered to him.

Thats all we know. Only three people know what happened between the call in and the backup arriving. Mumia Abu Jamal, William Cook, and Officer Faulkner. None of them are talking. We know why Officer Faulkner isn't, but the others surprised me.

The court/press/police/prosecutor stuff is disturbing, but if you go by what is agreed upon by all parties, it seems pretty obvious.

Try finding info on William Cook. It takes awhile and I know why. He doesn't fit the present image of the Mumia campaign. He is found spred eagle at the scene and his first and ONLY words about the killing were "I don't have nothing to do with it". Not a defense of his brother or "the shooter went that way." And he has not spoken about it since.

The main eyewitnesses were not great people (who is at 4am), but they gave independant statements AT THE SCENE, they identified the suspect AT THE SCENE, and the suspect never left the scene. In other words there was no conspiracy at the scene.

Mumia has never said what actually happened that night, to Officer Faulkner. He is obviously smart and seems to have created a public persona that is above any facts from the scene. But why not tell what happened. He has the whole world listening.

I read that most of the famous supporters haven't even read the complete court transcript and I believe it. When I get the time I'm going to try and find it and then read it. What a concept.

There seems to be a lot of focus on trying to get him off by using the court case and tecnicalities but I think if you can look at that night and the facts at hand you may feel differently.
