Wow. Talk about not letting the truth get in the way of a good story. Your story in absolutely unbelievable! By the way, Judge Gordon has nothing to do with the charges being brought against a defendant. It's the prosecutor. Regarding Killen, Judge Gordon finally oversaw Justice being done. That MONSTER, Killen, was found guilty and will be in prison for the rest of his life.

What I fail to understand is since the accusers signed an affidavit testifying to the fact that they lied on the Scott sisters and were coerced by a crooked sheriff, why haven't these women been released. This is a damn shame, what happened to the might Al Sharpton, what happened to the NAACP, why didn't the innocence project respond, what the hell is Eric Holder good for that he could not have helped to get these women released, are all of these people just useless fakes?

This is soooo frustrating! I am just hearing about this for the first time and I can't stop crying and praying for these women and their families. I can't (but I can) believe this is happening today. Why won't anyone listen or help? One sister is losing her mind and the other needs a kidney. How can the people involved let this happen? I can't imagine that mother's pain for all these years.

I’m not an attorney, but i am a 3rd year law student. Has no attorney stepped up and taken the case probono? It would seem that a good attorney could get this resolved through just a few phone calls.

Maybe if the in state attorneys are afraid of retaliation from representing this case, maybe an out of state attorney that has passed the bar could help.

From the merits of the case that I’ve read so far, it seems this has gotten completely out of hand. I assume their original attorney was probably a public defender, who cared less what happened to them.

Or, maybe calling the FBI is in order.

I’ll try and look into this on my own. It just seems like such an obvious case, I can’t believe it’s gone on this far.
