NJNB does not demand, nor would we, that OPD police BART stations, since we want to call into question the perverse assumption that we need a cop on every corner, and that cops are the best way to reduce violence in our communities. But we understand that, in practice, it would probably entail OPD coming in: resisting this would be the next stage of the struggle, since we all know there's nothing about OPD that's better than BART PD (political oversight notwithstanding).
