In Gaza christians and other non muslims are routinely tortured christian women are raped and the world is silent. to this day palestinians carry out honor killings of females, women are stoned to death homosexuals are killed why the silence. Israel and for that matter any country has the right to defend itself from attack. At the same time, having become involved in Congo activism, and, having gotten to know many wonderful young Congolese college students as a result, I can't help noting both their solidarity with the people of Gaza and their disappointment as they realize that very little of the rest of the world's peace and justice solidarity extends to them and their country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as the Congo War, a.k.a., the African holocaust continues. As in Gaza, the weapons are made in the U.S.A. The slaughter in Gaza is horrible, and I’m glad so much of the world is protesting in outrage.
