I respect Herman for his sacrificing the past 35yrs of his life for fighting for our people. However given the fact that he is already doing life for “murdering” a pig in NYC it is completely unrealistic to think that he is going to be paroled for that previous conviction. They dont let so called “cop killers” on parole. Furthermore how is admitting manslaughter to another “officer” in CA going to increase his parole chances in NY?

The reason why I referenced his plea and not Jalil’s was because his was first and changed the scope of the entire case for all the SF8, especially Jalil. I suspect this is why in Jalil’s statement he said he “relunctantly” took the plea.

The reason why the state is claiming victory is because the torture induced confessions of 1973 have been justified in the court of law 30yrs after it was thrown out! They had no evidence and would have failed to convict any of the SF8 if the case would have gone to trial. My energy now is more focused on how I can support Cisco Torres not celebrating because he is still at risk. Thats why its Free’em ALL (not some)

Your comment is ignorant at best. Herman has spent over 35 years of his life in prison as a result of a bogus trial in an Amerikkkan kangaroo court. Does it not make sense that he would not want to risk a fair trial in those same courts once again? If convicted, he would have faced life in a CHU super max prison. As a result of his plea, he’s receiving no jail time – a deal unheard of for a supposed cop killing. The only reason the prosecution is claiming victory is to save face because they’ve wasted millions of dollars of tax payers’ money for nothing. I also find it ironic that you’re using a quote that references both Herman and Jalil’s pleas yet you’re referring solely to Herman. If you’re listening to what they have to say, it’s you that may need to do some real political education before you go making ridiculous comments based on what the “pigs” are saying. I would argue that’s the “BS”.
