This suggests that a new way of funding home ownership must be found. How can a way be found to buy a home without using a bank? Where are the community banks? How can people band together to form self-funding sources of loans? Banking cooperatives? Face it, the corporations own our so-called representatives, and we can't afford to buy our representatives back. I do think some of them want to help, but they want to be re-elected more.

Both. You must show diligence on your part to resolve. And make sure you keep a log on everything.
