This morning the Georgia Pardons Board denied clemency for Troy Davis. His execution will take place tomorrow at 7pm in Georgia.

For those who want to take action:

Let's stand for Troy Davis and deluge the Governors office with phone calls, and letters. These executions are not to punish the guilty, but put fear in the public, especially African Americans. It was a tactic used during slavery, a public execution of a black person by the system. Whites would line up to watch the lynchings and then tear the body a part. It is not about the innocence or guilt of Troy Davis, it is about a system built on racism and lies. Just as these people were willing to steal native lands, and enslave African People they are willing to continue the atrocities against our people. The history you read about Europeans is one they wrote and force feed our children. They have lied to us and will continue to lie until we take our own destiny in our hands. How many times do these people have to reveal themselves to you before you take action. Whether it is to march to the White House, or State Houses across this country, whether it is to write letters, we need action now. An entire generation of our young men are being murdered, or locked away for life. We cannot continue to sit in the sidelines…, "If not now when? If not you who"?

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Here we go again where the great United States of America chooses to execute an innocent man regardless of the facts. I, along with yourselves am sure have traveled these treacherous roads before to spare the life of someone whose guilt is in question. No DNA, no weapon, no plausible motive and recanting of every so-called eyewitness except the one who is more likely to have comitted this heinous crime. This is an all time low for this country of our's if this man; Troy Anthony Davis is murdered behind
a case without any evidence and plenty of doubt. Which is a far cry from which we supposedly stand. Guitly Beyond A(ll) Reasonable Doubt.
