KPFA is so corrupted by "established staff" who won't go away, but tediously dominate and manipulate the news away from truth of ZOG (zionist occupied government) … then there is amy goodman the nastiest disinformation operative of all… worshiped there and insidiously manipulating the listening audience. Unpaid volunteers, new voices drawn from through out the community would better serve the bay area… How did Brian Teekart manage to hang on? wonder…

I agree. Carrie is such an intelligent, warm, caring, and lovely person to be around that It's hard for me to understand why anyone wouldn't welcome her to KPFA.

This week I received a contribution to my own reporting from a Rwandan refugee who said, "your reporting gives hope to millions of Rwandan Hutus who survived the Rwandan Patriotic Front's slaughter. When we read or listen, we get hope that justice will prevail at last."

And the "listen" in that "read and listen" was mostly thanks to KPFA, which means to those who contribute to keep it on the air. So I hope long time listeners won't give up on KPFA now.

Your headline has it right, Carrie is a breath of fresh air. She's hard working, thoughtful, open and — smart. The truth is, we've got a lot of smart people at KPFA but the other parts of that description are qualities that can be in short supply. We need the things she is calling for, especially "new voices and new energy to our programming." And our finances are so poor, that can only come from unpaid staff and new volunteers.

Send her some love. And, hang in with us at KPFA. We need your support to get through this.
