The hypocrisy by European leaders in their pandering to populist rightwing politicians like Geert Wilders, recently denounced by Polish prime minister Donald Tusk, seems to be directly linked to these riots. The failure to engage mainstreet and to look in the mirror will only make violence on the streets more likely.
