War is a natural in humanity. You post this to get people "fired up," but you are actually only further setting us back. This is perpetuating the race war. This happened in a different world. Nothing is the same now as it was in 1921. Today we have the "Blackfoot Soldiers," raping, killing, and looting. THAT IS TODAY! For reparations none-the-less. I'm of french descent, so how does that allow you to rape my wife?

Another question. Black slaves were allowed to own Irish slaves. These Irish slaves were treated far worse and only had a few year life expectancy. Do blacks owe the Irish reparations?

I'm not going to cite sources intentionally, get of your asses and look it up and learn something for yourself, instead of just ingesting spoon-fed bandwagon propaganda like this

The real sad point about this is very few Black people know this story and many, especially in England, would not even believe this event actually happened. Black people now listen, believe and understand the 'STORIES' told to them from a white perspective. Wednsday before professor Robertson discuss the powerpoint ” Race “, he touched down on and important video . ” Slavery by another name ” was the format that we were discussing . It tought us that race had an huge impact on culture and society . Frdiay , special guest speaker Dr. Harden really broke the method of slavery down to me . I recieved the message as if I were in the same particular position my fellow ancestors were facing . Poverty , racism , ethnicity , internalization , social construction , discrimination , and prejudice . The list goes on and on . Discrimination in slavery was in a way self-explanitory . Whites would as we say today ” blackmale ” the black community . Discriminating in every way possible , african americans were at risk of not only there freedom but their lifes as well . Dr . Harden was very accurate about this particular subject . He described how african americans were pusing themselves to the limit . Their tactics and demands were getting rejected because they were trying to move up in society . They weren’t allowed to . Therefore , recent gains are undeserved . I believe that african africans should’ve of lived in a society where race and judgement of class shouldn’t matter . Whites were so prejudice against african americans . Some african americans were convicted and senteced to being an indentured servants . Working to pay off their debt . Many were falsely accussed of this incident . No matter how mny times african americans would run away from trouble , trouble would find them . Never did have any say so . That’s until the admendments were admitted into law . We all know that african americans were considered as enslaved people . ” Niggers ” to be exact . Institutional Racism consist of race . Mainly occurs in public places . Systematic Racism consists of patterns that discriminates across social organizes in society . These two types of racism made society what it is today . The way we handle racism today are using different classes. You are classified by the class you in . It is essential that we all learn about our history now . Later will be too late . Abstract Liberalism consist of having an hands off approach to land oppurtunity . That’s a important fact that Dr. Harden spoke about . America is the land of oppurtunity . You choose the right choice to make and reep the consequences . I choose to get ahead of my generation and make it to the top . Our generation today dont take advantage of the oppurtunity at hand . They tend to expect everything handed to them . Well , im here to stand up and stand out for my generation . No , I don’t know everything about the world and what’s going on in the world . I can assure you that im willing to know . So many oppurtunity n life that we as young people can choose from . When Dr. Harden finish his lecture I was really into his words still . He really broke everything down to max ; making it understadable to my intelligence . Comparing his lecture to everyday life now , makes alot of since . None of us african americans would be free if it weren’t for our ancestors . They’re the ones that went through the pain , hardship , hard labor , and suffered just so we can be standing on our on two feet . So I tip my hat to the ones that suffered for my freedom and say thank you for everything . That’s what I got out of Dr. Harden’s lecture .

In the meantime, the paper you describe as a "total disgrace" has printed information that anyone can now do additional research on. 52 weeks ago you made your remarks, where is your article? Can you point to a more scholarly article that can be read? Where's the link? Can you help make the paper more honorable? As I read the story that I had heard about in some vague way, I wondered how many other stories of its kind have been buried. This type of story flies into the face of "Blacks are not trying hard enough." We often forget that the rules change as we near the finish line, the playing field is not level and we fight against seen and unseen forces. Just seeing this article in Black History Month, February 20, 2011, I am reminded that the Black fight for excellence has been sabotoged at times (more times than one would imagine). It encourages me to move forward to find the truth and to do my best to correct those things that I have jurisdiction over—mainly myself! Besides your howling and criticizing Werwolf, what skill-set do you bring to this equation? What forces are keeping you from writing and submitting that scholarly article?
