please point out any dishonest statements in the article. did you actually read it? are you oblivious to the string of lies that have come out of all the local departments? are you completely unaware of the hundreds of abductions of people in the last many months alone, who have been released with no charges filed? that is a systemic abuse of power : punish and ask questions later. and that is only recently being documented, after decades of the same or worse from opd in particular : beatings and no arrest at all, or assassinations with bumbling cover ups…

justified by whom? seems like nothing wrong and business as usual to you to have police investigate their own, eh? every attempt at supposed 'independent' investigation eventually washes out as the same… that same old blue line.

there so far has been no real evidence that either of these young men fired a weapon. there has been plenty evidence of police lying, even on the witness stand. why aren't police prosecuted for committing perjury? why are murderous police, who draw their weapons out of fear and hatred, not self defense, left on 'paid leave' when they've lied about a shooting?

please enlighten yourself as to the truth. the truth is out there, and it will set your locked up mind free.

@errol lynn- you are parrotting the lies the police people put into the news story. The youngman shot after being chased for suspected fare evasion , was not found to have a weapon. The Police person (who shot him) was however found with a unissued pistol And his police ‘enforcement’ gun.
If you can rest easy that Black communities have problems, then consider that the problem you complain of is really that we have people and institutions with their heeled shoes on our neck. Polluting the truth with repeated lies so that followers like You, erroll, can point at Us in fear.

Btw, was it clear enough that the latest police homocide was (also) unarmed? A Defenseless highschool graduate left to die on a sidewalk…

Get your facts straight, both shootings were justified. Although, the shooting in the Bayview was self-afflicted so how is it murder?

Stop pushing lies and start looking at the mirror, the black community has a lot of problems it needs to address. Do this and maybe the world will see the black community as a contributing one.
