Mabel and John Williams speak at the Oakland Unitarian church. Mabel and Robert Williams were leaders in the Black Liberation movement in the southern US in the 50′s and 60′s. They were leading proponents of Black self defense and self determination. John is Mabel’s son. Robert died in the 1990′s. Also present were cultural workers Amiri and Amina Baraka, Bobby Seale of the Black Panther Party, and Yuri Kochiyama, long time supporter of the Black Liberation struggle.
