Tawana Williams

Nationally known motivational speaker and author Tawana Williams is coming to the Bay Area once again. Tawana visited Oakland last year in October 2013 and mesmerized the audience as she keynoted several church events.

Tawana’s message of hope and inspiration resonates loud and clear that “All things are possible to them that believe!” Tawana was born without arms and impaired use of her legs due to the drug Thalidomide that was given to her mother. She’s been challenged all of her life to do the impossible.

Her compelling story is one of triumph, perseverance and determination. Tawana’s will to fight for her life transcended self-pity. She overcame many obstacles and has never let her disability stop her because she stayed focused on her abilities. Tawana beat the odds!

Tawana is a Les Brown platinum speaker, TV personality, artist, advocate, businesswoman, mentor, humanitarian and CEO of Tawana Williams Outreach, Inc., a not for profit 501 (c) (3) organization. She’s the author of five books, including her best seller, “Unarmed But Dangerous.” This book is her personal testimony and will be featured in her debut movie coming to theaters soon.
