NAAFRA, our family movement, calls for a youth vanguard to provide added strength for immediate results. The need for a youth vanguard is made very clear in Ferguson, Missouri, where the world has been watching our youth confront a militarized police force prepared to fire on unarmed Black citizens. With these courageous youth directly in the line of fire, at that moment we were too close to a line we do not want to cross.
Their courage is needed for our non-profit operational plan for change to progress quickly. With hip-hop/rap culture as the epicenter, our family movement will generate pride in being African.
We, the New Afrikan Amerikans, are a large number of people with little wealth – bad economics but great potential to change our condition to a state of ever-evolving progress by activating a plan of our own for the explicit purpose of inviting all movements and cultures to assist in putting into motion the NAAFRA Operational Unity System. This system at once brings forward the potential to grow wealth, reclaim our markets, build infrastructure and create the jobs we need to cut away at the impoverished lifestyles of far too many New Afrikan Amerikan families.
The negative conditions that have plagued Black people from day one of our being released from physical captivity to the present day are primarily due to the loss of faith in our true God and ourselves to stand together as a people willing to work hard to bring forward the change we need. Conditions that a weak people would not be able to change will change as we come together.
This gives our family movement an advantage, based on the fact that we are not a weak movement. Our blessing of strength is found in the fact that we are a people who survived the most destructive system of slavery known to mankind.
Our efforts are meaningless if we are not able to evolve a plan, which we have, or a movement, which we have: the NAAFRA Operational Unity Movement that makes it possible to work together while building the strongest New Afrikan Amerikan family movement since the era of the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey’s UNIA. By bringing our families together in the National Afrikan Amerikan Family Reunion Association’s non-profit family movement, this positive change becomes a reality!
The NAAFRA Operational Unity System brings forward the potential to grow wealth, reclaim our markets, build infrastructure and create the jobs we need to cut away at the impoverished lifestyles of far too many New Afrikan Amerikan families.
Our family movement is focusing on important activities at these two developing locations:
First is Mound Bayou, Mississippi, where former slaves on July 12, 1887, officially established an all Black town that currently needs our help to continue standing tall. The first focus of our family movement is to establish an aquaponic organic farming system and an aquaponic catfish system in this location. We have already acquired a very large building that is being renovated. This will create a number of immediate jobs plus the after-effect will create markets, distribution and possibly more homes for families in this location.
The cost for the two systems is approximately $2 million, and they will be owned by the Mound Bayou Revitalization Foundation. They will serve as models to be duplicated throughout Black Amerika, making it possible to own and control the source of much of our food.
The second location is the Khalifah Kujichagulia Village in Southampton County, Drewryville, Virginia. Home to the historic Nat Turner Trail, this 123 acres of land has great potential to assist our family movement to continue our push back against the mis-education that is occurring throughout Black Amerika.
Offering two-hour lectures and tours to visitors, we will continue to make use of Freedom Fighter Nat Turner’s successful Black revolt as an educational fact in Southampton County. The funds needed to continue to develop this vital landscape amount to half a million dollars.
Thus our family movement finds it necessary to make an all-out appeal to the entire hip-hop/rap New Afrikan nation to join our national movement for change, to build a permanent development fund to begin the long journey to a plateau of plenty for all needy Amerikans. That will see our people getting the upper hand on reclaiming our markets, job creation, improved economics, and reductions in mass incarcerations levels and recidivism.
Our family movement finds it necessary to make an all-out appeal to the entire hip-hop/rap New Afrikan nation to join our national movement for change, to build a permanent development fund to begin the long journey to a plateau of plenty for all needy Amerikans.
In my spirit, I don’t see anyone else with the courage to join this family movement and take on this awesome task – because it is an Afrikan challenge – who does not fear to get in the face of those who are holding our people in a condition of assigned poverty by making it impossible for our people to work their way out of this condition.
Now we are taking on this task to bring our people out of this genocidal existence by the strength of our Afrikan WILL and the blessing of our Heavenly Father. Therefore, we respectfully request the following brothers and sisters to take on the role of ambassadors to bring the hip-hop/rap culture into the vanguard of this family movement for change: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Chuck D, dead prez, Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre, Mos Def, Nas, 50 Cent, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Missy Elliot, Rah Digga, Foxy Brown, Da Brat, Jean Grae, Ice Cube, Snoop, Will Smith, Master P, Bow Wow and The Dream.
