On May 14, 2018, a Mayoral Forum was held at San Francisco’s Commonwealth Club. The race for mayor of San Francisco is close to the wire, with the election coming up on June 5. If elected, front-runner and San Francisco Board of Supervisors President London Breed will become San Francisco’s first Black woman mayor.

She, Amy Farah Weiss, Jane Kim, Mark Leno, Ellen Lee Zhou, Angela Alioto and Richie Greenberg appeared on the forum’s stage to give a standing-room-only audience some insight into what they will bring to the office of San Francisco mayor. Moderator Melissa Caen brought patience, order and fun to the discussion.

If elected, front-runner and San Francisco Board of Supervisors President London Breed will become San Francisco’s first Black woman mayor.

Couldn’t help but notice that unlike the other candidates on stage, who, when standing, stood at their designated seating positions, Mark Leno made his way to stand in front of London Breed, which blocked her from cameras’ view. Tune in!
