This is just a quick missive in regard to the enclosed letter that the warden is sending to people who inquire about my wellbeing.

He is telling them a flat out lie. I have yet, as of this date, Nov. 3, 2013, to see a doctor for my heart or for ingesting ink (see “‘Somebody tried to poison me’: Pelican Bay prisoner suspects hunger strike retaliation” and “We pledged to become martyrs to force CDCR to the negotiating table”).

This (the letter below) is the lie the warden is spreading. He also refuses to disclose the result of their investigation. I want people to read the warden’s letter and see how he is lying to the public.

Death before dishonor! One aim, one destiny!

Note: I tried to mail this out on Nov. 4. It came back to me today, Nov. 7. They are trying to stop me from mailing it out.

Readers are encouraged to follow the warden’s suggestion to call Counselor Russell at (707) 465-1000, ext. 6714, to inquire about Abdul’s wellbeing and demand he be thoroughly examined and treated by a doctor immediately.

Send our brother some love and light: Abdul Olugbala Shakur (J. Harvey), C-48884, PBSP SHU D1-119, P.O. Box 7500, Crescent City CA 95532.
