Sahara Fakhir is 33 years old. Prior to her incarceration, she was productive in the community, a member of Custodians of Faith, feeding the homeless. She is loved by family, friends and the homeless. She is a free-hearted, free spirited, loving individual.
Even though she is physically restricted due to knees that limit her mobility, she is always willing to sacrifice her own needs for the benefit of others. She loves animals and respects all nature. She shares about God’s goodness and His greatness, believing there is good in all things. She is strong in her faith and beliefs. She often denounced the free masonry practice here in Douglas County, Georgia, as well as the extremely high conviction rate, especially of Muslims, Blacks and other people of color.
In the last three years, District Attorney David McDade and others have been under investigation and some forced to resign for numerous illegal activities, including misuse of conviction files put into his personal storage, money laundering and racketeering. (See The Washington Post’s “Good riddance, Mr. McDade.”) These same people have targeted, tried and convicted Sahara Fakhir.
Sahara Fakhir owed a fine for a ticket but was unable to pay. She was put on probation and, still being unable to pay fines and fees, was detained by the court. She again spoke out about free masonry and felt she, as a Muslim, was being unfairly treated.
Under arrest for probation violation, she was accused of murder. Sahara Fakhir was not an acquaintance of the victim and had no motive to harm him. Other motives, unrelated to Sahara Fakhir, had been established but were ultimately thrown out and not used.
It was noted that the victim’s best friend was an eye witness to Sahara Fakhir’s involvement; however, that witness was never in clear view of the victim’s residence. It was also noted that a robbery and gruesome struggle occurred, although the victim’s wallet was found in the home with contents of $900 in cash untouched.
An investigative report stated that an employee of the victim was questioned as to possible enemies the victim may have had. The employee disclosed witnessing a man come into the shop accusing the victim of having an affair with his wife.
The employee stated that the victim confirmed the affair, in fact, saying, “Yeah, and it was good!” However, this evidence was not revealed in court. Sahara Fakhir was not read her Miranda rights until 30 hours after her arrest.
In the last three years, District Attorney David McDade and others have been under investigation and some forced to resign for numerous illegal activities, including misuse of conviction files put into his personal storage, money laundering and racketeering. These same people have targeted, tried and convicted Sahara Fakhir.
An examination of Sahara Fakhir proved she had no marks on her body to indicate a struggle. The coroner reports the victim had pre-existing injuries obtained prior to his death. Furthermore, an alibi for Sahara Fakhir for the night in question had not been asked for and was never established.
During the time of Ramadan, there was misconduct and disrespect during searches and seizures at Sahara Fakhir’s residence. Upon deputies entering her home, minor children were held at gunpoint, while adults that also lived there were not allowed to enter the house and had to remain outside for hours.
Plastic bags were carried inside and those bags filled with contents from inside were carried out. A search dog was also brought in and allowed to defecate on the floor; the mess was left there and not picked up. A search warrant was not given until 14 hours after entry to the property had been made.
A letter concerning these incidents was sent to the judge but was totally ignored. State lawyers asked investigators if they used gloves at the crime scene. They replied, “Due to our expertise, protection was not used.”
There were 27 hours unaccounted for, proving that the crime scene had been disturbed. Sahara Fakhir’s foot was later inked to create a motive. The occupants were forced to move out of Sahara Fakhir’s home for fear of unlawful, subsequent police entry – and they did occur.
Sahara Fakhir would not take a plea bargain. So she was moved to a mental institution with orders to be medicated – for no apparent reason and without knowledge of her physical condition. Nor was her family notified prior to these actions and decisions. When the family found out, they immediately raised a fuss about it.
Due to Sahara Fakhir being an activist and speaking out about free masonry, she was unfairly targeted, accused and tried for murder. She was also denied a change of venue for a fair trial, since her character had been assassinated publicly and her personal information displayed. Sahara publicly blessed and forgave the people of the court, but was called “sick and evil” by the presiding judge.
Due to Sahara Fakhir being an activist and speaking out about free masonry, she was unfairly targeted, accused and tried for murder.
Please spread the word of this prejudice and injustice in any and all ways willing! See Ephesians 6:7-18 and Surah 94:1-8 Al-Inshirah.
We are making this national plea to all God fearing, believing men and women and believing Muslim men and Muslim women without judgment and without prejudice to pray for Sahara Fakhir that Allah will release her from the evils of free masonry judicial systems, which have a conviction rate as high as 99 percent of people of color and Muslims.
God almighty says if we say we believe in Him and love Him, we will be tested. Sahara Fakhir is being tested – not only she, but this is also a test for others. Those of us who are loved ones are also being tested.
May God’s blessing be on all who participate in prayer and monetary support towards legal representation. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
