Kalioya Politrix LLC launches new practice this fall

San Francisco – ‘Tis the season for social ventures and elections. Accordingly, Kalioya Politrix LLC (KP), a local management consultancy based in the City’s southeast corridor, announces a new market focus to commence this fall: early-stage public benefit corporations and social entrepreneurs; nonprofits that support or incubate them; political action committees; or campaigns for candidates for election or voter initiatives.

Kalioya-mortar-pestle, Kalioya Politrix LLC launches new practice this fall, Local News & Views “The initial six months to one year of operations are critical for the development of not only your product or services in a way that truly offers some measureable social impact – it is also a time when entrepreneurs are shaping their internal culture and employer brand,” explains Kenya Ratcliff, principal consultant and founder of KP. “These areas are symbiotic and can, when handled right, add to an organization’s competitiveness and longevity. Campaign strategy requires sure-footed, quick action in response to unforeseen, often catastrophic events that can decimate a candidate’s social capital within a highly pressurized timeframe, which mirrors what entrepreneurs can go through.”

Kenya Ratcliff’s expertise spans organizational development, human resources management, field operation strategy, planning and execution for campaigns and publishing. “My vision for KP is one that encompasses prosperity, innovation, avid civic engagement and public benefit. I want to evangelize the notion that these concepts can peacefully coexist and even overlap with integrity and efficacy. Often the opposite view prevails, which stunts progress.”

KP’s mission is strongly influenced by seemingly intractable economic disparity despite the highly visible rapid growth and prosperity blooming in the City by the Bay. This wealth has unfortunately passed over much of the southeast corridor. In recognition of this, for nearly a year, KP has worked closely with Rising Sun Developers LP, an urban development investment group based in SF’s Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood. Geared to offer would-be investors living or working in disadvantaged neighborhoods the rare opportunity to benefit financially from the erection of local housing, retail or mixed-use developments, Rising Sun relies on KP to aid with ongoing business planning, board and organizational development, and related project management in preparation for a first-round public offering of shares in early 2014.

“My vision for KP is one that encompasses prosperity, innovation, avid civic engagement and public benefit. I want to evangelize the notion that these concepts can peacefully coexist and even overlap with integrity and efficacy.”

KP’s approach is idealistic, yet soundly data-driven. “In this frenzy we see today over social media metrics as a key way to gauge an organization’s visibility and even performance, recognition that the digital divide still exists and can obfuscate the numbers should not be lost,” Ratcliff warns. “Kalioya Politrix’s approach is crafted around a very simple, evocative tool – a mortar and pestle – which is universal: the combination of strength and stability (the mortar) and direct action (the pestle) to produce a desired result. A group of determined people, from all walks of life, lending their force and will to pounding away at a problem is inspiring. We hope to propagate social entrepreneurship and civic engagement in much the same way. It is the absolute perfect Product Launch Formula Review.”

Kalioya Politrix (KAH-lee-OY-Ah PAH-li-Tricks) LLC is based in San Francisco. For more information, call (415) 671-6150 or email Kalioya@icloud.com.
