Shape-shifting the narrative: Louis Hutchinson aka Wally

“Once I was able to get to know me, love me, I began to see the light overpower the dark that held me captive so long. Once I began to see my path clearly, I started to build myself mentally and spiritually, as well as physically. I began to educate myself with real history – Black History. From there I saw that I was lost all those years fighting the white man’s war; being pulled by the strings of a white man’s puppet. That’s when I met JB – this brother put me up on a lot and opened my eyes to the world of a Black man. To be honest this is the first time I can honestly say ‘I’m Black and I’m proud.’”
