May our Most High Divine Mother-Father Creator of and in All – and incredible Ancients and Ancestors from past millennia, yesteryears and, literally, yesterday – find you and (y)our extended Family thriving and in healing Spirit, Loving Life and seeking sacred MA’AT.
Honoring a few of our new Ancestors
WE mourn, celebrate and pay tribute to several recent transformations to Spirit, including: Our life-long friend, ELVIS “Poopie” COX, who was able to enjoy some life and love after being released from decades in prison. Amen. Asé.
Our great revolutionary strategist and organizer, Queen Mama ETHEL MINOR, who served the people through the Nation of Islam, the Organization of Afro-American Unity with MALIK SHABAZZ, fka Malcolm X, Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and for decades with the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party in the ucptsa, in columbia, Palestine and around our continent of Alkebulan/Afrika. Amen. Asé.
Rev. CHARLES SHERROD, freedom fighter and first Field Secretary for SNCC. Amen. Asé. Rev. FRANK WATKINS, who for many years was the chief media person for Operation (Rainbow) PU$H Coalition and Rev. Jesse Jackson in chicago. Amen. Asé. As well as Baba HAROLD LUCAS, our “God-Father of Bronzeville,” who worked for decades to landmark and save our former Black Metropolis area and historic structures on chicago’s south side where we resided and organized. Amen. Asé.
Finally, WE offer sacred thoughts for the many precious lives stolen by the capitalist-imperialist murderous militaries and polluters represented in washington and on wall $treet as well as London, Brussels, Paris, the apartheid state of israel, Moscow and other neo-fascist dictatorships. They continue their massive production and distribution of dangerous deadly weapons; denial of basic human rights; withholding of basic necessities like food, housing, healthcare, a clean environment, etc.
They continue their genocidal corporate wars against the people, our climate and environment – from the thousands who have perished from unprecedented flooding in Nigeria, to major crises in Ethiopia, Haiti, the Congo, Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, around Turtle Island (so-called “americas” including the ucptsa) and so many other areas of our world.
