Truly a breath of fresh air

Hotep, Salam, Habari Gani and Shalom! My name is Mangwiro A. Sadiki-Yisrael. I’m a Political Prisoner being held kkkaptive at Federal FCI in Talladega, Ala. I have been here since October 2021, but today was my first contact with any anti-kkkolonial kombatant and propaganda network, and i must say it is truly a breath of fresh air.
Studying your Vol. 46, Oct. 2021 and your Vol. 46 Nov. 2021 issues and seeing some of my Elders finally released from the prison industrial complex and continuing the struggle to ‘Free the Land’ is such an honor to me.
It was studying the words of Elders like Comrade Jalil Muntaqim and Comrade Sekou Odinga that led me to embrace New Afrikan Revolutionary Nationalism at 19 years of age. And now, at almost 50 years old, I remain just as active as ever!
It was applying these revolutionary principles in the city of Atlanta and throughout the state of Georgia, organizing members of the Gangster Disciples/Growth and Development that led me to being indicted May 4, 2016.
For organizing Gangster Disciples (GDs) into social political activists who stood up against police brutality, fed the hungry, did weekly community cleanups, organized with the Atlanta community of the Nation of Islam, Street Groomers, Almighty Black P. Stone Nation, Hebrew Israelites and others, my door was kicked in. Bombs were thrown into my home almost killing my then 4-year-old son. Automatic weapons were drawn on my 4-month-old daughter who was being nursed by my Queen. And I was taken hostage by federal agents in full military fatigues and armored trucks.
I haven’t been able to touch my family since. On Sept. 13, 2021, I was given a sentencing guideline of level 43, which is life in prison. However, Judge Thrash Jr. settled for a 20-year sentence. My crime: “Remaining GD after other alleged members committed murder.”
Kkkourt records show that i did not aid and abet in any murders, provide weapons, have foreknowledge, nothing! My crime is being GD. And more than that, being a revolutionary GD who understands the need to get our street armies involved in the struggle. That is my true crime. For the person whom the government found to allegedly commit the murder didn’t even get 20 years – he received 108 months!
I have an appeal in, but in the meantime I will continue to help shape revolutionary consciousness. If the Bay View needs me in any way, feel free to reach out to me. I pray that the brother who brought me these issues continues to receive them so that I can stay informed. Revolutionary love, and may Yahweh and the Supreme wisdom of our ancestors continue to guide you in all your righteous endeavors.
