You matter even if your heart is shattered
There is still hope if it goes pitter patter
You matter
And I don’t stammer in my grammar
Even if you’re locked up for life
In the slammer
With enhancements and hammers
You matter
You matter if you never climbed the corporate ladder
And your clothes are tattered
You matter
As long as we’re breathing
We don’t need a reason
To prove we’re worthy of love
Regardless of race, religion, gender or legal tender
You matter
After all the chit chatter
At the end of the day
No one’s worthless
Even dirt serves a purpose
So bask in bliss
Knowing that you’re so special
You deserve the planet on a platter
That’s how much you matter
Some of us are sicker than Satan
In that case you’ll burn in hell like bacon
Believe it or not, you matter
