Birthed in the community, Our City Our Home’s Proposition C recommendations go to the mayor and BOS for final approval.

Details of Mayor London Breed and former BOS President Norman Yee’s Early Education Economic Recovery Program created to address early education issues in general, and specifically during this COVID-19 global pandemic, to protect and nurture our most precious gifts – the children.

“While we expected that this funding would likely be tied up in litigation due to the legal uncertainty, this is one way to make some of the funding available sooner rather than later,” said Mayor Breed. “In the meantime, we are moving forward with my shelter crisis legislation and my plan to open 1,000 new shelter beds by the end of next year.”

To save money, San Francisco needs to cap salaries and pensions. One hundred thousand dollars is a nice round number for any city manager. Pensions should be a small percentage of the $100,000.
