Will Struggle for Greed ­– No More! The Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act introduced on March 24, 2021 is built to close the obscene gap between greedy CEOs and the workers who make it possible, to tax corporations a fair share, with tax penalties against CEO/median worker ratio excesses, and the Treasury Department required to issue regulations to prevent tax avoidance.

San Francisco falls critically short of safe drinking water accessibility for homeless people, which according to the 2019 Point in Time Count, there would need to be an additional 36 permanent water points in District 6 alone to meet the international minimum standard for water access established by the United Nations, made even more critical during a pandemic.

The injustice continues with Ahimsa Porter Sumchai’s ongoing exposure of the relentless suffering and death attacking the residents of Bayview Hunters Point – the result of the U.S. Navy’s poisoning the land with no cleanup or accountability, handing it off to profiteering developers, years of government and corporate corruption and greed, and crimes against humanity, culminating in three federal Superfund sites now confirmed.

The SF Black communities are coming together to demand that those they elect be more proactive in helping to create what’s necessary, with community-centered leadership, to build strength, safety, health and wellbeing within SF Black communities, with a focus on the roots and impact of increasing violence.

Congressman John Lewis’ “Good trouble. Necessary trouble” has become a mantra for movement to many working for shift in the status quo. “The Dream Keeper Initiative” was fostered by the SF Human Rights Commission to invest in the Black community with community members at the helm to bring healing, equity and reimagining in the present moment, and focusing on youth involvement moving into the future.
